Accommodation

The ADA requires that individuals with disabilities be reasonably accommodated in the workplace and at school. For students with disabilities, accommodations might include:
- extra time on exams
- a private room for taking tests
- seating in the front of classrooms
- getting lecture notes from professors
- access to specialized software (e.g., text-to-speech)
- the option to get a single room in on-campus housing
