Associate's Degree (AA, AS, AAS)

A post-secondary (after high school) two-year degree. An associate's degree can be a stand-alone credential or count as the first two years towards a four-year bachelor's degree. The most common types of associate's degrees are Associate of Arts (AA), Associate of Science (AS), or Associate of Applied Science (AAS). AAS programs can be geared toward specific professions such as hospitality management, dental hygiene, law enforcement, web development, and many others.
